New Forest Local Government Reorganisation Petition!
From April 2028, the New Forest area will be split and served by 2 new unitary authorities - you can see how in the image and find the details here.
While this doesn't directly affect Christchurch, the impact of this will be felt by all visitors to the New Forest, Christchurch residents included.
As a result of this proposal, a campaign group New Forest Together have set up a petition on change.org. The petition will be handed to New Forest District Council at their Council Meeting on Monday 13th April.
