Motorists who park illegally near the seafront will once again face significantly higher parking fines this August as part of our second trial to help keep our busiest coastal areas safe and accessible.
Following the success of last year's pilot, illegal parking fell and access improved on some of our busiest routes. We've also heard strong support from local residents, with many calling for tougher action.
The trial will run from 4 to 31 August on coastal roads from Sandbanks to Southbourne.
