• The crime rate per 1,000 population varies in each Upper Tier Local Authority across the Force area: (Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole (BCP), 80.1; Dorset County, 40.2.
• 5 of our 12 policing sections are classified as rural (Bridport, Dorchester, East Dorset, North Dorset, Purbeck).
